Start the Terrible eye as you would any Microsoft Windows program.

An attractive splash screen appears. Wait 5 seconds or click either mouse button to dismiss it.

Immediately an eyeball, the Terrible eye, will loom at the center of the Windows Desktop, it's steely gaze fixed upon the arrow cursor.

Mode

Drag-and-Drop Mode - (default)

The Terrible eye can be repositioned on the Windows Desktop at any time using the drag-and-drop method.

Inertia Mode

In Inertia Mode, the Terrible eye can be drag-and-dropped anywhere on the Windows Desktop. If the left mouse button is released while the cursor is in motion, the Terrible eye continues moving at a rate of up to 100 pixels per second. When the display's edge is encountered, the Terrible eye rebounds. Since the Terrible eye is frictionless in this mode, it will slowly bounce around the Desktop indefinitly.

Inertia-Friction Mode

In Inertia-Friction Mode, the Terrible eye can be drag-and-dropped to any location on the Windows Desktop. If the left mouse button is released while the cursor is in motion, the Terrible eye continues moving across at unlimited speed. When the display's edge is encountered, the Terrible eye rebounds. The Terrible eye is eventually brought to a halt by friction in this mode.

Inertia-Friction-Gravity Mode

In Inertia-Friction-Gravity Mode, the Terrible eye can be drag-and-dropped to any location on the Windows Desktop. If the left mouse button is released while the cursor is in motion, the Terrible eye continues moving across at unlimited speed. When the display's edge is encountered, the Terrible eye rebounds. In this mode, a gravitational force of 20 pixels per second per second will cause the Terrible eye to eventually bounce to rest on the Taskbar.
